Frequently Asked Questions

CPD Points

How do I earn CPD points?

To earn a CPD point:

  1. Watch the full hour.
  2. When the session finishes, ‘Complete’ will show at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Download and complete the Q&A sheet (you do not need to return it).
  4. Your certificate will automatically appear under ‘Certificates’ in your profile.

You must watch the full session to be eligible to claim the CPD point. Your watched time is automatically logged and CPD Certificates made available only when the timestamp shows the full session was watched.

CPD Live is self-assessed. You are required to review the questions and answer sheet and we recommend keeping a copy of them handy in case of an audit.

IMPORTANT: Users are responsible for ensuring any CPD they claim accurately reflects their participation. CPD Online records user activity and, where required, may provide relevant records to registration or auditing bodies for the purpose of verifying participation.

I got disconnected from the Live CPD presentation; will I still earn my 1 CPD Point?

If you are in a Live presentation and are interrupted or disconnected from the session, you may rejoin at anytime from the same username/login and your time will accumulate. For Live presentations, you must watch no less than 45 minutes to be eligible for the CPD Point and our website will track your attendance with timestamps.

If it is not possible to rejoin the Live presentation, you can rewatch the session when it becomes available on-demand and earn the CPD Point.

Can I get CPD points for on-demand sessions?

Yes — if you haven’t watched the live version and instead choose to watch a session on demand, you must watch the entire one hour presentation to earn 1 CPD point.

CPD Online records user activity and, where required, may provide relevant records to registration or auditing bodies for the purpose of verifying participation.

Where do I submit my Q&A sheets?

As a self-directed learning platform, participants are responsible for personally completing each presentation in full and downloading the accompanying Q&A resource before claiming CPD. You do not need to upload or submit the Q&A, however it is the users responsibility to ensure they comply with any record-keeping or audit requirements of their relevant registration board or professional association.

How many CPD points can I earn?

Each live or on demand session earns you 1 formal CPD point. You may participate as many CPD sessions as you wish. Participants are expected to personally complete each presentation in full and download the accompanying Q&A resource.

Will I get a CPD point again for rewatching a course?

No. You only earn 1 CPD Point per course — whether live or on-demand.
