Are the presentations live or recorded?

CPD Live offers real-time interactive courses during live events, typically hosted twice a year in June and October. These live courses are then recorded and made available to you on-demand for continued viewing.

Do I have to sign up for each individual live course to get access?

Yes. Once you create an account on the site, you can then go through and register for each individual live presentation you’re interested in joining. If you’re watching courses on-demand, you will have access to all of these once you have created an account.

How do I earn my CPD points?

To earn a CPD point for a live/on-demand presentation, you must watch the full hour. Once watched, you will be able to click complete which takes you to the questionnaire for the course. You must download these questions and answer them. After this, your CPD certificate will be available on the website in your profile section under “Certificates”.

Can I rewatch the courses?

Once the live courses have finished, you can rewatch the presentations on-demand. After 12 months of going live, our CPD courses are no longer accredited for you to earn CPD points yet they are still an invaluable resource we want you to have access to. View our library of archived CPD courses which no longer offer CPD points.

How many CPD points can I earn from a live course? How many from an on-demand course?

On completion of a live course or an on-demand course, you will earn 1 CPD point.

Will I get a CPD point again for rewatching a course?

No. If you have watched the live presentation, you will not receive another point for watching the same course on-demand. This is the same if you watch an on-demand course. After viewing once, you will not earn any further CPD points from watching the same presentation.

Where will my CPD Certificate be sent to?

Your CPD certificate will be available on the site in your account. You can manage all your CPD certificates in your CPD Live online account. Click on Certificates in “my account” to access them.

Can I get points from watching on-demand courses or are points available for live presentations only?

If you have not watched the live version of the presentation, you will earn a CPD point the first time you watch the on-demand course. If you saw the live presentation or have already watched the on-demand course, you will not earn any further CPD points. You cannot earn multiple CPD points for one course.

Can I join at any time during the live course?

No. You must join within the first 15 minutes of the live course to be eligible to receive a CPD point for it. The courses will be locked after these first 15 minutes have passed. If this happens to you, the course will still be available for you to watch and earn your CPD point on-demand after the live presentation.

I forgot my password, what do I do?

If you have forgotten your password, click “Lost Password’ on the login screen. This will send you an email with a link to reset your password. If you haven’t received this email please ensure you check your spam/junk mail.

Are all courses on the website CPD-accredited?

All of the courses that are under the Upcoming Live Courses and the On-Demand Courses are CPD-accredited. We also have a section on the site for non-CPD-accredited presentations that houses courses that were previously accredited but are no longer. This ensure CPD points are earned only for the most up-to-date content. These are for general viewing purposes only.
